J: Dictionary Pages | April 10, 2019 | Children’s illustrated dictionary pages cut into strips
Oh. My. Gosh. I finally had to change the dictionary I shredded for this project.
The original one had such limited capabilities. The pages couldn’t hold a shape. The lack of variety bothered me.
I found three larger format dictionaries in the basement. I may or may not have a collection of books ready for craft projects.
The paper in this dictionary definitely holds a shape better!
You can see the difference in page color, texture, and weight in the J (left) and I (right). The new dictionary has a white page with color illustrations.
I wanted to complete the entire month with the same book. After complaining for several days about the older dictionary pages, I began to wonder why I was forcing myself to use a paper I didn’t like.
I plan to use the new dictionary pages for a few days to see how it works out.
