I created a letter for each day of the challenge. While maybe you are supposed to skip a day here and there to blog until the end of the month, I decided to power through A to Z from April 1 to April 26.
I used two different dictionaries for this project. I finally gave up on the first dictionary after several days. It was sapping my energy to work with those pages. I decided since I make my own rules to switch to another book at the Letter J.
I drew a letter freehand then outlined it with black card stock strips. I used a variety of techniques to fill the letters. For a few letters, I really kicked myself for not just creating the shape with the quilled pieces first, then add an strip for an outline.
I’ve never outlined this much before.
Some designs have a heart while others do not.
YES, TWO books were damaged while making this project.

Z: Dictionary Pages | April 26, 2019 | Children’s Dictionary Pages
XYZ was a real challenge with limited pages.
Z had a single page in this dictionary. So, I did an accordion fold on this one to fill up my Z.
When I shred pages, I sometimes lose up to half an inch of the page. When you only have one page to work with, every strip counts.

The End of this April A to Z Blogging Challenge.
