Bouquet of Flowers | May 8, 2019 | card stock strips | bleeding tissue paper

I spotted a design like this on Instagram. I love the concept and ease of using loose coils and a few shapes to create quick flowers.

I made my handwritten notes last week for Teacher Appreciation Week. While kiddo was sick over the last two days, I used my nervous energy to create an assortment of 23 bouquets.

For my May 8 project, I tried to use bleeding tissue paper to create a small background for the bouquet. I made one and decided to make the rest with only a white background. Mental note: keep experimenting with the bleeding tissue.

The bleeding tissue paper is a quick way to “paint” a background.
