I found an old Reader’s Digest book at the free table at my library branch. Book pages cut into strips are good and not so good. Unless you find a book with a gold (or another colored) edge, you won’t have any color variety. You can see words on the strips at an angle.
The book used for this project is the Reader’s Digest Condensed Books Volume 4 1976.
I crimped the strips and made loose coils for this heart.

I had a few extra strips of green left. I thought this one might end up as Heart Half Full. I’ll save that perfect title for another day.
After a week of lingering snow, the sun and warm temps — even with a brisk wind — makes it feel like spring.
