Gold Beehive | March 22, 2019 |text weight strips
Still keeping it low-key with the flu.
I also finished this attempt at making a heart-shaped Colorado State Flag.

I made this with text weight strips.

Flu 4 | March 21, 2019 | one-quarter inch quilling strips
The flu series continues while I’m traveling.
This one got a little crushed on the airplane trip home.

Flu 3 | March 20, 2019 | card stock strips
Another flu day.

Flu 2 | March 19, 2019 | text card stock strips
Another flu day heart! My family just let me roll.
Still on spring break and traveling.

Flu 1 | March 18, 2019 |text weight strips
Today, I officially fell to the flu. So, I took the simple route — two text weight strips shaped into a teardrop.

St. Patrick’s Day | Cotton Candy | March 17, 2019 | card stock strips
While planning to travel and quill, I forgot about any traditional St. Patrick’s Day colors.

Thanks Delta | March 16, 2019 | text weight strips
My son and I traveled to Georgia for the beginning of spring break. We almost always fly Delta. Today was a Delta day, so that made today’s heart.

I can’t say no to the cookies!

Circles Galore | March 15, 2019 | one-eighth inch quilling strips in tight circles
This is from a stash of pre-made circles. I needed them in a pinch to create a heart today. I forgot to go back and attempt to smooth out the inside for several of the circles.

More Dots | March 14, 2019 | Card stock strips
These circles are in the school colors for a charter school my son attended several years ago. I created these materials several years ago.
I initially planned to not fill in the whole hearts, but realized I had enough to use all of my circles.
Here is the Stallion school mascot I made this with the strips I cut before I rolled the circles used in today’s heart.

To create this school mascot, I put an image under this piece. Then, filled in all the colors.
