Here are my January 2019 hearts. I pants — you know by the seat of my pants — my way through January. A few I absolutely do not like, but I pushed through creating a new one each day.
I explained what I’m doing in this post … Heart Project: 365-Day Challenge

Spring Tree | Jan. 30, 2019 | cardstock strips | Rolled on Buddy Border form

Winter Tree | Jan. 29, 2019 | Paper strips from random receipts, cardstock, and text weight paper

Summer Tree | Jan. 28, 2019 | Zoning and text paper strips | Beehive technique

Beehive Flower | Jan. 27, 2019 | Text weight strips | Beehive technique on flower petals and to fill up the heart.

I tried to just add a flower in my heart shape. The shape is a single strip folded in half, glued at the top, and then glued to to my 4×6 mat.

I wasn’t happy, so I took red strips and did the beehive technique on them. They were added to the heart shape.

Then, I put the petals on top of the heart shape. I’m trying not to overthink this 365-day creative challenge. Of course, there are many days ahead to try a heart in a different way.
